Mission Statement

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington is a non-profit social service agency implementing the Church's social mission in relationship to the needs of families, individuals and communities. The Agency provides direct care services within the area of the Diocese of Arlington; advocates for and empowers the disadvantaged; convenes the Catholic Community around the Church's social mission and creates partnerships with other community organizations which share common goals. The Agency's resources and services are provided in ways that will strengthen individual dignity, family life, social justice and a preferential option for the poor. Direct service, convening and advocacy programs will be developed to serve the unique and specific requests of parishes. Our Identity and mission are rooted in the Catholic faith and our services are available to all in need. |
