Crisis Pregnancy
Counseling:
Counseling is available to any woman, man or family
involved in a crisis pregnancy. Assistance is
provided in finding living arrangements, medical
care, financial support and helping parents in the
decision on parenting or adoption.
Foster Care:
Children's Services provides short term foster care
for infants and toddlers while permanent plans are
being made for their future. The agency seeks
loving families to care for these children. During
the placement, foster parents and staff share
responsibility for the children's care.
Family Homes:
Pregnant women who need an alternative home are
provided with a wholesome, secure haven and a good
model of family life.
Adoption:
Catholic Charities is licensed by the Commonwealth
of Virginia as a Child Placement Agency. In the
domestic program Caucasian, African American,
Hispanic, biracial and other minority children are
placed with loving families. The agency also
provides social services for Intercounty,
Interstate and Parental Placement Adoption so that
caring families can have other adoption options to
consider.
